The Iranians carried out a missile test in the Strait of Hormuz, during the transit of some US-led Coalition warships against the Islamic State. The incident, according to US Navy's Central Command, took place last Saturday, but was leaked only a few hours ago. The comment of the Iranian media (a strangeness in itself) is very warm.

Missile tests took place near the US super aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and two other warships. According to the US Navy, the Revolutionary Guard Iranian would have communicated the exercise only 23 minutes before it started.

"Highly provocative, dangerous and unprofessional actions that question Iran's commitment to safety on a vital waterway for international trade. That exercise clearly violated international maritime law".

The incident was reported first by NBC News. In addition to the commercial ships present in the area, in the potential range of the missiles launched during the exercise, there were also the USS destroyer Bulkeley, the French frigate Provence and, as we have said, the USS Truman.

The data on the type of exercise carried out by the Iranians and the possible specifications of the rockets launched were not issued.
