The United Kingdom will send a ship of the most modern warships of the entire Royal Navy, the Daring-class destroyer "HMS Defender" (photo), to protect the French aircraft carrier en route to Syria. The "Defender", equipped with one of the most advanced air defense systems on the planet, will have the task of escorting the "Charles de Gaulle". But that is not all.

Hollande's call for the "creation of a powerful multinational force capable of delivering a decisive blow to the Islamic State" is responding, and it is appropriate to say, half the world. In Sebastopol, this morning, command of the Black Sea War Fleet, came the two Buyan-class missile corvettes, the "Serpukhov" and the "Zelyony Dol". The class Buyan in fact represents the non plus ultra of the category for the Russians. The two ships, in the coming hours, should be sent before the Syrian coasts since they could not launch missiles from the Black Sea Kalibr-NK, without the authorization of the Turkish government.

The first missile attack from the sea took place on 7 October last, when from the Caspian Sea, the "Dagestan", missile-launch class frigate Gepard and the class corvettes Buyan, "Grad Sviyazhsk", "Uglich" and "Veliky Ustyug" launched a series of Kalibr against the Islamic State in Syria.

We recall that the naval base of Tartus, on the Mediterranean coast of Syria is protected by five warships led by the missile cruiser class Glory, the "Moskva".

A few hours ago the Kremlin moved the class destroyer from the Northern Fleet Udaloy "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" and from the Black Sea the "small missile launcher" class Nanuchka, the "Mirazh". The latter, in the 2008, sank a Georgian ship near the coast of Abkhazia.

Finally, in the Mediterranean, the Russians also have five submarines. One of these, the "Rostov-on-Don", has already launched all its missiles a few hours ago against enemy targets in the Raqqa area.

Belgium also responded to Hollande's call. The class launcher frigate Karel Doorman, "Leopold I", is en route to Syria to protect the "Charles de Gaulle".

Recall that the entire US battle group of the aircraft carrier 'Harry S. Truman' is sailing in the Mediterranean. The Group is composed of the Seventh Carrier Air Wing Squadron, the 28 ° Destroyer Squadron, the Ticonderoga "USS Anzio", the class missile destroyers Arleigh A. Burke, "USS Bulkeley", "USS Gravely" and "USS Gonzalez" and two class attack submarines Los Angeles. It will reach its destination by mid-December.

Finally, the possible Russian coverage of the "De Gaulle" was officially denied. The Russian General Staff has specified that "the De Gaulle Battle Group is clearly able to operate completely independently". The De Gaulle Battle Group, it is worth remembering, is made up of two class frigates Horizon, two frigates class Georges Leygues, a class missile frigate Lafayette and a nuclear-powered attack submarine class Ruby.

In the next few hours, other missile frigates could reach the Mediterranean.
