Mobile laboratories to analyze DNA and Iris recognition systems. These are the new technologies put in place by the United States to identify possible terrorists from Syria.

The "Refugee Admissions" program of the USA, in collaboration with the United Nations, provides for the experimental use of new systems such as iris scanning and mobile laboratories for DNA recognition, as stated by the Department of Homeland Security. During the Syrian civil war, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees relied on such devices to record the identity of fleeing Syrians. THE'Homeland Security, on the other hand, acknowledged relying on a database containing the updated biometric data.

The US will also have new mobile DNA recognition labs. To date, a similar technique is used to counteract "child trafficking". Through pads, the analysis is analyzed DNA of the child and the companion. The result, in this case, comes after weeks. The new systems, on the other hand, allow a recognition test to be completed within sixty minutes. National Security plans to test the new recognition systems within the next few weeks. The new devices are considered less complex than those currently used for fingerprints.

Last December 12th, in a report by 18 pages, the Department of Homeland Security has raised the alarm on a certain batch of passports issued since June of the 2014 in two regions under the control of the Islamic State: ez-Zour Deir and Raqqa. Passports that would be available at the flourishing Syrian black market as well as in the Turkish one. The inability to verify the information with the legitimate Syrian government and the exploitation of the ex-infrastructure of the provincial and regional government determine a problem of difficult solution.

"The Islamic State is using the presses stolen from the government to make passports and false documents with covers of Russian origin. The documents are then sold from a minimum of 200 to a maximum of 400 dollars ".

According to US intelligence, 3800 counterfeit Syrian passports have already been marked. Other 10 thousand were intercepted by the FBI in Bulgaria on their way to Germany. The seized games, however, could represent only a tiny part of the false documents made by the 2014.

"In the absence of specific intelligence information we cannot identify the refugee as a member of ISIS. We have no intelligence on the ground ergo the information we have on the refugee is based on what it tells. So it means he could be a terrorist or a desperate one ”.

It should be remembered that the Visa Waiver Program it does not apply to Syria, as it is not included in the list of countries recognized by the United States. Thus, through this visa process, an individual would be subjected to the procedures of screening methods by the US intelligence services databases. The problem, in this case, is that the information is also based on the international database made available by the respective countries. And the Syrian one may no longer be completely reliable and up to date.
