Moscow: "invisibility is a publicity stunt, always given the F-117"

"Neither the Northrop B-2 Spirit nor the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk could escape the Russian missiles, invisibility is a publicity stunt." This is what General Sergei Babakov, commander of the Russian anti-aircraft missile units at Sputnik said.

"I'm finally authorized to say it. Even our old R-118 can detect an F-117. So, please, let's stop fooling ourselves: nobody has the invisibility cloak ”.

Babakov added that tests for S-400 systems have now entered the final phase. The S-400 Triumf (NATO SA-21 Growler name) is a new generation Russian anti-aircraft weapon system, capable of destroying thanks to the complete missile suite provided, short and long range targets, from strategic bombers to fighters , from the Tomahawks to intercontinental ballistic missiles.

If the data released by Moscow were confirmed, the S-400 would have a practically double range to the American MIM-104 Patriot.

For the Russians, there is no aircraft (including the B-2, the F-22 and the F-35) capable of dealing with an S-400 system with impunity.
