The determination of the pilot

One of the negative effects of the Ukrainian crisis is in the resurgence of the confrontation between NATO and Russia. The continuous acts of force, warnings, provocations or even monitoring of the opponent's reaction times have now become so constant and continuous that they no longer represent a novelty.

Political and military decision-makers, therefore, have endorsed a strategy of contrast based on deterrence, but then the implementation is of the military, who must resort to all the training received in order not to run into errors.

The raider will have to hope not to cross into a fanatic, and will not have to perform acts that can be considered as hostile.

The interceptor will be obliged to strictly adhere to the rules of engagement, and must always remain present to himself in order not to make mistakes in interpreting any acts carried out by the incursor.

A game where reasonableness will be the foundation to avoid an increase in the level of confrontation. In the meantime, no accident occurred, demonstrating the operational capabilities of the military.

As evidence of this, it is the recording of the audio track of a British pilot, in scramble towards a Russian plane, intercepted the October 30 while he was in approximation of the identification zone of Great Britain.

The voice is firm, determined, threatening, but the words leave no room for any incorrect interpretation: "We are instructed by His Majesty's Government to warn you: if you do not immediately respond to my orders, you will be overthrown".
