ISIS: Terrorists came in possession of hype, chlorine and perhaps sarin. Kurds attached to the gas

The Kurdish forces engaged in Iraq against the Islamic state may have been attacked with chemical weapons, such as mustard gas. And the photos obtained from Fox News could confirm what they feared in recent months.

Isis, if confirmed, would have no qualms about using its chemical inventory to hit the enemy even in simple skirmishes. Enemy representing, to date, the main ally of the international community to fight terrorists in Iraq. And yet, while the West is still questioning the existence of chemical weapons, the photos obtained by Fox News, confirm their presence on the battlefield.

Hundreds of Kurdish fighters, after the last clash last week in the province of Barzani, were suffering from burns, blisters, respiratory problems, vomiting and blindness. The one considered as a barrage by terrorists (at least 52 mortars were counted, this should make one think as well) would then have been a prelude to an attack with toxic substances. The Islamic State would have come into possession of enormous quantities of mustard and chlorine gas.

The terrorists would also be in possession of another unidentified chemical agent. It could be the sarin, weapon of mass destruction. A colorless and odorless nerve agent. Mustard gas, on the other hand, is a chemical weapon widely used by the Germans in the First World War.

According to Kurdish testimonies, last week they would have been hit by some yellow clouds that smelled of rotten onions and garlic. Descriptions consistent with themustard gas.

One wonders what the West is waiting for to provide masks and protective suits, considering the arsenal available to the Islamic State, to the troops in the field. After the propaganda videos, with unlikely ballistic missiles paraded through the streets of the conquered cities, the terrorists would have come into possession of an unknown number of chemical weapons, found in the arsenals of Saddam Hussein.

That ISIS's military support is superior to its loyal counterpart is now a known fact. We know that the Islamic State uses propane cylinders, filled with bolts and nails, suitably modified with a rudimentary stabilization system (tail and welded wings), to create improvised rockets that explode on impact, dispersing bolts and incandescent nails: a real chemical fragmentation grenade.

The Germans, analyzing blood samples taken from Kurds injured in the clashes in northern Iraq, have already confirmed the use of mustard gas. Thesis not confirmed by the US Department of Defense.

The alleged use of chemical weapons - according to an official Pentagon statement - cannot be confirmed.

We have no laboratory test - added by Doctors Without Borders - that can confirm the cause of these symptoms, however the testimonies of the patients suggest the exposure to a chemical agent.
