ISIS: CIA Drone eliminates high-profile English hackers

A CIA drone has eliminated one of the best British hackers in the service of the Islamic State. The raid took place last Tuesday.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Junaid Hussein was killed during a targeted air strike near the Syrian city of Raqqa, the capital of the caliphate.

Hussein was a native of Birmingham. He fled from Britain to Syria in the 2013, after serving a sentence for violating the former British Prime Minister's assistant Tony Blair's e-mail box and disclosing confidential information.

Known by the name of Abu Hussain Al Britani, continued his recruitment work on the network, inviting young English people to join the ISIS cause. He wrote on Twitter in the 2014 "You can continue to play at Call of Duty at home or decide to come here and respond to the real call of duty ... the choice is yours ".

Hussein sought to use social media to recruit aspiring jihadists to carry out attacks on US personnel on duty andd has often posted on Twitter names, addresses and photos of American soldiers to be eliminated. According to the Pentagon he would have been involved in at least two failed terrorist attacks.

Just a few weeks ago, undercover journalists from Sky News they managed to get in touch with Hussein and his wife, an Englishwoman converted to Islam named Sally Jones. The couple would encourage journalists to form armed groups in Britain, also providing them with valuable information to obtain funds and equipment. It would have been Hussein himself to talk about the attack planned for the VJ Day celebrations, which took place last August 15 in London.

Despite the threats, the ceremonies took place without problems.
