The European Commission has proposed the creation of a risk-free European Emergency Response Force close to the borders in crisis situations. 1200 operators will be able to take sides in all member countries within two, maximum three days. It is what transpires from Brussels.

The border force can be used in emergency situations and in support of a member country so as to prevent the uncontrolled influx of immigrants.

The next 15 December, the European Commission will present to the parliament the proposal to create a rapid intervention corps and a coast guard service. New directives on the resettlement of refugees currently in Turkey are also planned.

According to the frontier agency Frontex, only in the current year 1,2 millions of immigrants have crossed the borders illegally.
