The coalition air strikes in Syria and Iraq of March 10-11

The United States and the military coalition forces also attacked the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria today. We update on the details of the latest bombings, which took place between 08:00 on March 10 and 08:00 today, local time.

Evaluations of results are based on initial reports.

Air strikes in Syria

A hunt led 2 air raids:

- Near Hasakah, an attack hit several oil pipelines.

- Near Kobani, an attack destroyed two vehicles.

Air strikes in Iraq

Fighters, bombers and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 13 air raids:

- Near Qaim, three attacks hit an artillery piece and destroyed two buildings and a piece of artillery.

- Near Falluja, three attacks destroyed three vehicles.

- Near Kirkuk, an air strike hit a tactical unit and destroyed a heavy machine gun.

- Near Mosul, five air strikes hit a tactical unit and an outpost and destroyed an armored vehicle.

- Near Rawah, an airstrike destroyed an excavator.

Operation Inherent Resolve

The attacks were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. The operation aims to eliminate the terrorist group ISIS and the threat it poses to Iraq, Syria, the region, and the wider international community.

The destruction of targets in Syria and Iraq aims to limit the capabilities of the terrorist group and to design military and terrorist operations.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Iraq are: the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Syria are: the United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
