'Unconfirmed' reports report that Germany could donate H4M helicopters to Serbia 145 to allow the Serbian Air Force (Ratno vazduhoplovstvo i protivvazduhoplovna odbrana) to have a fleet (operative, ed) of 10 total specimens. It was reported by the British defense magazine "IHS Jane's".

This 'donation' would be a kind consequence of the agreement signed last December with 28 Airbus, which provides for the purchase by Serbia of 9 specimens of the multi-role helicopter. Six copies will be delivered to the Ministry of Defense, while the other 3 helicopters will be supplied to the Ministry of the Interior and will become part of the Helicopter Unit based at the Nikola Tesla airport in Belgrade.

Airbus Helicopters will cooperate with Serbia in staff training, including in the agreement a complete logistics package consisting of spare parts, maintenance tools, as well as the technical documentation necessary for operational use and scheduled helicopter maintenance.

The maintenance will be entrusted to the aeronautical center of the 'Moma Stanojlovic' in Batajnica, center authorized to the maintenance of the fleet of 45 light helicopters Gazelle built in contract by SOKO in ex Yugoslavia still part of the Serbian air force.
