Germany announces the MBT Revolution in a video published on the official channel of Rheinmetall, the main German armaments industry.

In the video the new heavy tank of Berlin is immortalized: in reality, it is a modernized version of the Leopard 2A4. The new MBT, which makes extensive use of modular technology, will equip future German and French armored forces.

The new demonstrator, which will incorporate the developed technology into serial production, was developed by the Rheinmetall group for six years.

Presented as an "exceptionally fast tank", the new platform implements an automated turret as well as secondary weapon systems.

From Rheinmetall they emphasize the stabilization of the main weapon system. "In any terrain, the cannon remains almost immobile."

More information will be revealed in the coming weeks. It is considered, to date, the main antagonist of the "Armata" modular universal combat platform developed by Moscow.
