In a few days, some Russian paratrooper regiments will be transferred to Egypt to participate in a joint maneuver with the army of the Arab Republic. This is what the Russian Aerospace Forces Command confirms.
"For the first time in history, fully equipped Russian paratroopers will be deployed in Africa to participate in a joint international exercise."
The objective of the exercises is to determine common strategies of localization and destruction of hypothetical enemy forces in the desert.
Over thirty foreign observers expected.
