The United States will maintain a continuous presence in the Western Pacific in light of the tensions between North Korea and South Korea. This is what the Chief of Staff of Air Force Mark Welsh said a few hours ago.

"According to the planned rotation of the units, we are about to send three B-2 bombers."

A clarification, that of Welsh, due to the fact that many have wondered if this choice was taken following the growing tensions between Seoul and Pyongyang.

"No enhancement of our projection capacity, shift work was planned to guarantee our constant presence".

The B-2 will reach Anderson Air Base, in the northern part of Guam Island, in the coming days.
