"We have become a great nuclear power capable of protecting the independence and national dignity of our homeland with the strength of hydrogen nuclear bombs". This was stated by Kim Jong-un, leader of North Korea, during a visit to an artillery factory in the capital Pyongyang.
"We need and need to strengthen our defense sector."
To date there is no official confirmation that North Korea has actually developed and produced a hydrogen bomb.
