MBDA has signed an agreement with the Indian Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for the final assembly, integration and testing (FAIT) of the Mistral and ASRAAM missiles in India.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on September 12 at DSEI in London by George Kyriakides, director of international industrial cooperation at MBDA, and by commodore Siddharth Mishra (retd.), President and CEO of BDL.

BDL is one of the leading Indian weapon systems integrators and has provided over 130.000 weapon systems to domestic and foreign customers.

MBDA has a long history of working with BDL over the past 50 years, which has already seen over 50.000 missiles designed by MBDA manufactured in India.
