The board of directors of Telespazio, one j between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), today appointed engineer Gabriele Pieralli as CEO of the company.
Born in Florence in 1968, Pieralli, after completing his military service in the Carabinieri, graduated from the University of Florence in Electronic Engineering and specialized in Telecommunications.
Chief Operating Officer of Telespazio since June 2023, previously held top positions in the Leonardo group, where since June 2021 he has been managing director of the Electronics division.
He is currently president of the board of directors of Thales Alenia Space Italia.
