Leonardo will be the technological partner of the Alpine Ski World Championships scheduled in Cortina D'Ampezzo, Belluno, in February 2021. The partnership, signed with the Cortina 2021 Foundation, represents further significant confirmation of Leonardo's role in guaranteeing the safety of major events. .
Leonardo, a world leader in security as well as in aerospace and defense, will provide a complete video surveillance and advanced video analysis solution for all the event sites, with data collection in the field, analysis and classification of information in real time. In addition, systems for safe and reliable radio communications will be made available for the effective coordination of safety activities and interventions in the event of an emergency. The project also includes training, operational support and technical assistance.
