Leonardo-Finmeccanica and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina have recently signed, in Buenos Aires, a Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate commercial collaborations and in the development of high technologies in the aerospace, defense, security sectors.
The agreement provides for the constitution of a working group formed by qualified personnel with experience in the sector coming from each of the parties involved in the agreement in order to identify the areas of cooperation and the operating methods to start specific projects.
Mauro Moretti, CEO and General Manager of Leonardo, declared: "This agreement further testifies to Leonardo's international projection and the growth of our reputation on foreign markets which allows us to expand our relationships with numerous governments. The memorandum signed today with the Argentine government strengthens our ties with a country historically close to Italy and is proof of Leonardo's commitment to the development of the South American market".
