Leonardo announces the conclusion of the operations, aimed at the purchase of 988.475 Avio shares. Following the transactions, Leonardo's shareholding increased by 3,75% and is therefore equal to 29,63% of the company's share capital.
The operations, carried out on the market, ended on 29 May and involve a total outlay of approximately 14 million euros.
The transaction represents a further consolidation of Leonardo's role as Avio's industrial partner and Leonardo's position in a relevant, strategic sector with important development prospects such as Space, in particular as regards the launcher segment, also thanks to the significant contribution of Italy to European collaboration programs.
