Leonardo today announced the completion of the acquisition of Kopter Group AG (Kopter) from the Lynwood (Schweiz) company. The purchase price, on a cash free / debt free basis, includes a fixed amount of $ 185 million and an earn out mechanism linked to specific targets in the life of the program, starting in 2022.
The acquisition of Kopter allows Leonardo to further strengthen its global leadership and its position in the helicopter sector, in line with the objectives of the Industrial Plan towards strengthening the businesses considered central.
