Opened today in Sydney Pacific 2017, a maritime exhibition involving the main international defense industries.
Representing the government, the undersecretary of state for defense who today visited the main Italian stands.
"In an international context like this one in Sydney, I had the opportunity to meet the representatives of the main industries and companies operating in the Defense sector, a constantly evolving sector where the competition is always very high to offer an increasingly technological and vanguard"Said Rossi,In Italy we have excellences that have nothing to envy to other nations. We have always shown that we are capable of achieving important successes by working as a country system. In this perspective, the defense industry represents an important strategic resource for the Nation also in terms of economy and jobs. This is why it is important to aim at markets far from our borders".
At the end of the first day of work, Undersecretary Rossi was greeted by representatives of the Industries and the Italian community in Australia, in particular of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia. On the sidelines, he also had the opportunity to meet Christopher Pyne with the Australian Ministry of Defense for procurement.
