FLIR, a company that produces infrared thermo-cameras, has released a new video featuring the F-35B, variant short-take-off and landing of the JSF.

Stealing the show in 1080p is the engine of the B version of the Lockheed Martin fighter, the Pratt & Whitney, F135-PW-600 with its 80,1 kN of vertical thrust.

Filming was carried out by an 380-HDC thermo-camera of FLIR, which allows the helicopter rescue teams to exploit the latest generation of high-definition multispectral vision to carry out search and rescue missions during the Farnborough International Air Show.

The Royal Norwegian Air Force will start using these cameras from next year on the SAR AW101 fleet. To you the judgment.
