Boeing and the US government recently signed a five-year contract from 3,4 billion dollars with which the USArmy and a foreign customer will acquire the latest version of the attack helicopter Apache.
This is the first multi-year agreement for the "E" variant of theApache.
The US military will receive 244 upgraded helicopters while 24 new ones will go to the international customer.
Deliveries of the latest model began in October 2011. Seven customers outside the United States have ordered the "E" variant to date while over the past three decades the United States and 15 other countries have purchased. Apache.
