Boeing has signed a two-year 18,7 million dollar contract with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to provide logistical support and maintenance for the C-17 simulators Globemaster III.

The company originally designed and manufactured the equipment and has previously provided the same service for the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to the United Arab Emirates, Boeing provides training systems for C-17 to India, the United Kingdom and NATO.

There are 35 flight simulators of the C-17 globally in service, the figure represents the world's largest fleet of simulators among large military aircraft.
