When Alenia transforms itself from a Division into a Company, it holds the position of General Manager of Alenia Aeronautica. Other positions taken in the period include: Chairman of the Board of Directors of LMATTS (Lockheed Martin Alenia Tactical Transport Systems), Vice Chairman of Alenia Aermacchi and Director of the Consorzio Eurofighter GmbH and Eurofighter International. In September, 2002 was appointed CEO of Eurofighter GmbH. He is Chairman of the ATR consortium in the 1996, 1998 and 2000.
