OMA (Officine Meccaniche Aeronautiche) SpA, a historic Italian company operating in the international aerospace market, has obtained 3,4 million euros in direct financing thanks to Azimut Direct, a fintech company of the Azimut Group.

The operation, lasting 60 months, is aimed at supporting working capital for the procurement of materials and components, by virtue of the significant order backlog scheduled for the three-year period 2024-2027. Furthermore, OMA SpA continues to invest in research, with an R&D department that is always at the forefront, also supported by MIMIT, in order to design and implement innovative solutions, introducing new technologies into the production process and aiming for "zero defect" quality, thus to make production more efficient and reduce time to market.

OMA SpA provides high-value solutions for the design, development and production of integrated aerostructures, hydraulic and electromechanical systems and components, as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft and helicopters for commercial and military use.

“OMA is a rapidly growing company, as demonstrated by the acquisition of important new orders in the last year, which has generated a significant increase in the order backlog for the three-year period 2024-2027 – said Amedeo Tonti, vice president of OMA SpA –  This 3,4M euro loan obtained with Azimut Direct will allow us to secure future development plans, investing in research projects and in the acquisition of the most technologically advanced production systems to satisfy such a significant number of orders. We would therefore like to thank all of Azimut Direct for the support shown towards the success of the operation".

"We are proud to have been able to support OMA SpA, a global excellence in the aerospace sector, which focuses on innovation to continue its path of industrial efficiency, internationalization and development of high-tech products – comments Gerardo Bove, director of Azimut Direct – supporting virtuous companies that collaborate with institutions and that can be truly useful for the progress of society is a focal point for us, as the Azimut Group".

“The operation concluded with OMA Spa, one of the most innovative and relevant industrial companies in the area, is part of a process of continuous interaction with the Umbrian entrepreneurial fabric – adds Roberto Martarelli, Area Manager of Azimut Capital Management – To our great satisfaction, thanks to the daily work of the Umbria Team Manager Marco Campagnacci and his team, Azimut has confirmed itself as a point of reference for the world of business, culture and society".
