"Important - he added - because in order to guarantee an adequate security framework within the scope of these risks and threats, the government has committed itself last year to the drafting of a 'White Paper on International Security and Defense', which I expect to be able to present to the next Supreme Defense Council and, subsequently, to Parliament and public opinion ".
Focusing on the concept of the Defense System "a credible and clear point of reference for the community, an indispensable requirement for any country that wants to be and remain free and democratic", the minister underlined how in these decades the Armed Forces have built a heritage of credibility , experience and ability, both in front of national and international public opinion.
