The Air Force at Motodays 2015

03/03/15

From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 March, the Air Force will be present at the New Rome Fair at the 7 ^ Edition of the Motodays, the Moto and Scooter trade fair of central-southern Italy.

After the great success of the last edition, this year we will focus once again on the variety and completeness of the exhibition, on the richness of the contents, on the interactivity with the public, on the vehicle tests and on the quality of the scheduled events.

More and more the technology applied to engines comes from the aeronautical world, such as electronics, braking systems, hydraulic systems, as well as alloys and composite materials. Not to mention aerodynamics, whose study has always been a prerogative of flight.

In the dedicated stand, the Air Force will present itself with a closed flight simulator of the MB-339PAN aircraft, which reproduces the same sensations of the flight of the soloist of the Frecce Tricolori, and a cockpit of the famous F104 aircraft, as well as hosting the Furbara 17 ° Stormo Incursor with interactive activities aimed at visitors who will be able to interact with the staff of the Air Force.

In the four days of the exhibition, the Air Force personnel will be available to visitors to guide the public on the aeronautical world, providing information on the professional opportunities that the Armed Forces offer to young people, on the history of the Air Force (from the period glorious pioneers of flight to the present day, through the striking plane lithographs and interesting historical publications on display), as well as on current aeronautical topics. The staff of the Aeronautical Magazine will also provide all the information on the official magazine of the Armed Forces.

Guests of excellence will be the athletes of Rhythmic Gymnastics belonging to the Sports Center of the Air Force, world champions and bronze medals at the London 2012 Olympics, who will perform on the opening day, then leaving the baton in the remaining days to other military athletes world famous.
