The Cavalry School qualified the first armored personnel carriers on Centaur II of the operational departments. The course, lasting sixteen weeks, trained the crews to operate in the various stations on board the bus Centaur II, in all operational contexts, using the innovative and technological on-board systems of the turret and hull of the vehicle.
The fire "armor competition" was the final exercise phase, after a series of activities conducted in a day and night environment.
The heavy armor squadron of the "Cavalleggeri di Lodi" regiment (15th) and crews of the Cavalry School they were the first to test the training process on the new medium.
