For the Lancieri of Novara it is the fourth experience in the land of the cedars from the 2006, a job for which in the past the Silver Cross was awarded for having contributed, with its own work, to raising the prestige of the nations united and of Italy.
The regimental personnel will be framed in the “ITALBATT” Task Force and for the next six months will be engaged in the delicate security and humanitarian assistance tasks established by UN resolution 1701.
In the coming days the other assets that will complete the device of the Italian Joint Task Force Lebanon will also flow into Lebanon.
