After a phase of preparation and planning, the continuous multi-weapon activity on the basis of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment was completed, at the Tactical Training Center (CAT) of 1 level of Capo Teulada.
In the exercise, a series of tactical activities were put in place, conducted with opposing parties in a context warfighting, aimed at increasing the training objectives in relation to the next operational commitments that will concern the entire “Garibaldi” Bersaglieri Brigade.
Various departments were used in the training activity including the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment, the 4th Regiment, the Cavalry Guides Regiment (19th), the 21st Engineers Regiment and the 8th Pasubio Artillery Regiment, supported by JTAC assets. , APR STRIX of the 41st Cordenons Regiment.
The exercise was conducted in a realistic scenario thanks to the use of simulation materials supplied to the CAT, dependent on the Simulation Center and Validation of the Army (CESIVA) which, using the personnel of the 3rd Bersaglieri Regiment, administered the activations on the ground.
The activity aimed to test the leadership and the ability of the units to exploit the potential of the available assets, in a training context characterized by activations of increasing intensity and complexity.
