The gen. Graziano greets the soldiers leaving for the "Invictus Games"

"Not defeated, never won". This is the motto that animates the "Invictus Games" which will also be attended by the eight disabled army athletes within the Italian Defense delegation.

This morning the military were greeted by General Graziano, army chief of staff, who wanted to underline - "How they represent the best part of our country, their desire for redemption from disability caused by operations abroad and in service activity is a great educational and trust message ".

The Invictus Games are a Paralympic international military competition, organized by the Royal Foundation of Prince Hanry and the UK defense ministry which will be held in London from the 10 to the September 14 and which will involve more than 400 disabled military athletes from 14 countries that will compete in 9 sports disciplines.

Italian participation was strongly desired by the Ministry of Defense and the Italian delegation is composed of thirteen military personnel: 8 of the Italian army, 2 of the air force and 3 of the carabinieri.
