In the past few rounds, i volunteers in fixed stops of one year, attendees of the initial training course, belonging to the 2nd block 2022, have sworn an oath of allegiance to the Italian Republic, at the regiments training volunteers of Ascoli Piceno, Capua and Verona.
In front of the War Flag of the relative regiments and in the presence of military, civil and religious Authorities, as well as a representation of the Combatant and Armed Associations, the volunteers shouted "I swear!" and sang the Hymn of Mameli.
During their speeches, Brigadier General Eugenio Dessì in Capua and Verona and Army Corps General Carlo Lamanna in Ascoli Piceno, underlined the meaning of the oath, an ethical reference in the daily work of personnel with the stars and morale towards themselves and the country.
The volunteers of the 2nd block 2022, on April 4th will join the units of the Armed Forces located throughout the national territory to carry out their service. THE regiments training volunteers of Capua, Cassino, Montorio Veronese and Ascoli Piceno will be assigned, starting next July, to the basic training of the new professional figure of the volunteer in initial stop (VFI).
