The military component is in fact only one of the different realities of a modern operating environment, so it is necessary to establish a dialogue with all the actors present in an employment area, in order to be able to exchange information and work together in a coordinated way.

The goal is to achieve a full situational and cognitive understanding of the areas where the operations take place, precisely analyzing every possible effect generated by actions taken in the political, economic, military and civil spheres.

The "Eagle Blade 14" is a fundamental exercise in the path of reconfiguration of the NRDC-ITA Command in Joint Task Force Headquarters (JTFHQ), a process that involves the acquisition of greater capacities for the performance of higher level tasks in a crisis area, employing units of other Armed Forces such as Navy and Air Force, also from other NATO countries in an ever-widening inter-force vision.

At the end of this transformation process NRDC-ITA will be able to satisfy NATO's new ambition levels, confirming itself as an important resource both for the Armed Forces and for the territory in which it is inserted, continuing to contribute to the socio-economic development of the area thanks to its main characteristic which is multinationality.
