It took place this morning, at the Army Non-Official School, the ceremony of handing over the sword to the marshals of the XXIV course "Fidelity".
After the speeches delivered by the chosen regimental leader and the representative of the young course, each student of the XXIII "Honor" course, with the cry of "good luck", gave his twin the sword, symbol of the traditions of the Institute, which gives officially the status of pupil marshal to first-year visitors.
The commander of the Army Non-Official School, general of division Alberto Vezzoli, in addressing the pupil marshals stressed "The importance of today's day, which officially sanctions the entry of the XXIV course into the ranks of the students of the NCO School. Think about the responsibility assigned to you, be faithful to the historical uniform and honor it with respect for those who preceded you".
The sword completes and enriches the historical uniform, worn with pride by the attendants of the courses that follow one another in the Institute, a tangible sign of the sense of belonging and the spirit of brotherhood that animate the young marshals.
