Awarding patents to new Army Aviation pilots

At the Army Aviation Training Center, the closing of the 1 course observer pilots from the 2014 "Orion" helicopter was celebrated today, with a military ceremony open to family members, civil and military authorities of the city.

Army Aviation Commander, gen. d. Antonio Bettelli, after a brief intervention he pinned on the chest of the Corsican head "the eagle with the torch", symbol of the pilots with the blue beret.

The long training process involved visitors from the regular courses of the Academies: the 189 ° and 190 ° of Modena, 12 ° and 13 ° of Viterbo.

The course began at the 72 Stormo of the Italian Air Force in Frosinone; subsequently the phase at the Center which, with a hard program, gave them the skills necessary to operate in the flight units of the Army Aviation through tactical flight training, on-board weapons training, l 'night flight training with light-intensifying vision systems, flight crew survival training, interrogation resistance and survival at sea.

Ready and trained they passed and passed the specialty exam that led them to obtain the pilot-observer license of the army.
