the Central Representative Council, at this critical moment for the Nation, wants to express its closeness and solidarity to all the soldiers of the Italian Army who, despite the risk, due to constant exposure, continue to guarantee the country's security.
In the circumstance we offer you the best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Given that the objective of the full operation of the Army must remain a priority and intact, the preliminary condition remains the protection of the health of personnel without which there can be no operation.
In this moment of urgency, the various Area Summits have issued various directives on the matter, which leave a very high degree of indeterminacy and do not allow military personnel to face the emergency situation in the same way and with the necessary serenity.
A rare example of clarity of the objectives to be pursued is the directive issued by the Armed Forces Summit today.
Therefore, we ask you to intervene to harmonize the directives issued, so that they are equally usable by all staff and at the same time protect the Commanders who must grant extraordinary regulatory institutes, such as licenses and permits, to justify absences.
We also ask you to promote any possible action with the competent Authorities aimed at issuing directives that take into account the emergency situation and that recognize the specificity of the Armed Forces.
Sure of his complete commitment for the good of all the personnel of the Italian Army, we remain confidently waiting.
