The training for the cavalrymen of the Guide regiment (19th) in the presence of Brigadier General Massimiliano Quarto, commander of the Garibaldi brigade, ended at the Monteromano polygon, with an exercise at the level of the multi-weapon explorer detachment.

A multi-weapon minor complex was employed for the exercise in carrying out an offensive counterattack tactical activity, with the aim of training and testing personnel in a scenario of warfighting with multiple specialties fielded as part of a combat campaign.

An exploratory platoon with light armored vehicles and busses participated in the exercise Centaur of the 19th Guide, a C1 platoon Ram of the 4th Tank Regiment, and other assets of the Armed Force.

The training allowed to test the ability of mission commander, thanks to a series of activations that followed one another during the execution of the tactical act that allowed to test the preparation of the commanders at various levels in the planning of the mission and in the conduct of a tactical act, as well as to finalize the preparatory training of the units to future employment outside the national territory.

The exercise, which falls within a broader context of activities carried out for the preparation of the departments, was organized and conducted in full compliance with the health legislation in force for the containment of the spread of CoViD-19.
