In recent days, at the Palazzo Ducale in Modena, home of the Military Academy, the officers of the normal role of the Corps of Engineers, the Sanitary Corps and the Commissioner Corps recruited by direct appointment have solemnly sworn in to the Italian Republic, individually, in front of the Flag of the Military Academy Institute and in the presence of the commander, Brigadier General Davide Scalabrin .
General Scalabrin, in the introduction to the swearing-in, reminded the young officers: "The fundamental importance of the act which, with discipline, honor and a sense of duty, you sign, indissolubly binding yourself to the choice of life that, consciously and freely, you have made".
The 28 officers of the various Corps, with the oath, completed the application course which, divided into two phases carried out respectively in Modena and Cesano di Roma at the Infantry School, provided the basic motivational references and the technical-military procedures of the "soldier".
From next week, the officers, who have become full members of that single group forged by the Military Academy, will continue their training at the Training Command and Application School of Turin.
