Today, Major General Mario Cinque took office as Chief of Staff of the Carabinieri, left on January 15th by gen. ca Teo Luzi at the same time as he assumed the position of commander general of the Carabinieri.
The gen. Cinque, assumes the new post, nominated by the Minister of Defense Hon. Lorenzo Guerini, after having held the post of deputy chief of staff since September 2018.
