Vladimir Putin: "The Turkish F-16s shot down our plane, they stabbed us in the back, there will be very serious repercussions"

"It is clear that our pilots did not pose a threat to Turkey. It was a stab in the back. Our aircraft was shot down by a missile launched by a Turkish F-16 ”.

This was stated by Vladimir Putin during the meeting with the King of Jordan Abdullah II in Sochi.

Putin, who appeared visibly upset, then concluded "This tragedy will have very serious repercussions on our relations with Ankara".
