"The only thing we expect from our ally, the United States, is to support Turkey, without ifs and buts". Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu (pictured, right) said this during a press conference on the sidelines of a national security meeting.

Ankara, increasingly isolated from NATO, which has repeatedly noted that it will not be drawn into a war against the Russians, urged Washington to unconditionally support the expansion of its battle against the terrorist threat, particularly against Kurdish militias.

"Those who hinder Turkey's sacrosanct self-defense right will be considered terrorists and treated as such. The Kurdistan Workers' Party claimed responsibility for the latest assassination attempt on Turkish 28 victims. Now we expect the unconditional support of the US to fight terrorism, both on the domestic front and in Syria. Who threatens Turkey threatens the United States ".

The United States considers the Syrian Kurdish front an important ally in the fight against the Islamic State. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, meanwhile, has again promised the nation, at a meeting of UNESCO in Istanbul, that Turkey will hit the Kurds all over the world.

"Our rules of engagement have changed, we will hit terrorists everywhere, without distinction, both Kurds and fundamentalists Isis. How many will oppose the fight in Ankara, they will be considered terrorists and we will act accordingly. Those who continue to support them in the name of fighting against Islamic state, they do nothing but worsen a situation that is already serious: the People's Protection Unit, a Syrian Kurdish armed wing, uses the war against ISIS to obtain funds and equipment from foreign powers ".

Ankara, last Friday, received an unofficial warning from the UN Security Council in suspending the bombing against Syrian Kurds, in compliance with international law.

Russia, which provides military aid to Syrian Kurds, has confirmed that the aviation has already received orders to hit Turkish troops should they invade Syria.

The Syrian Kurds are trying to create an autonomous Kurdish region in northern Syria, trying to unite two territories. It is divided by a strip of 100 kilometers controlled by Islamic rebels.
