Teenage Sextant in Israel: All Old Knowledge ...

27/06/14

Israeli security forces published the names of the Hamas terrorists who abducted the three teenagers from the 12 last June in Judea and Samaria. The terrorists come from Hebron and would be Marwan Kawasme and Amer Abu Aysha.

Marwan Kawasme

A figure already known to Israel's secret services, Kawasme has been repeatedly arrested for his crimes as a member of the terrorist organization Hamas.

He was first imprisoned at the age of 18 years and spent ten months in prison. Kawasme was then detained by Israel on four other occasions. In the 2010, the date of his last arrest, Kawasme confessed to being recruited by the Hamas military wing to operate within the Hebron organization.

In the 2009 Kawasme participated in military training in one of the Hamas camps, tried to obtain explosive materials and helped the terrorist organization recruit new agents. In response to these actions, Israel detained Kawasme until March of the 2012.

Amer Abu Aysha

Abu Aysha was arrested for the first time in November of the 2005. Released in June of the 2006, he was arrested less than a year later. In November 2005, Abu Aysha's brother was killed while attempting to launch an explosive device at IDF soldiers. The Israeli authorities have arrested his father several times for a series of terrorist activities.

These would only be the first Israelis wanted in the kidnapping of three young students.

The new Palestinian government, which controls the 38 per cent of the West Bank, has rejected the accusations, stating that the boys have disappeared in an Israeli-controlled territory.

The three teenagers, Eyal Yifrah of 19 years and sixteen-year-old Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frenkel, were last seen Thursday 12 June, in Gush Etzion, near Bethlehem, north of Hebron, before being kidnapped by terrorists. They are students of a religious school in a Jewish settlement in the West Bank.

It is the first time that three civilians have been kidnapped in the same action.
