To offset NATO's greater military presence near the Russian borders, we will deploy three divisions: two in the west and one in the south. Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has just announced.
"The Ministry of Defense has decided to adopt a series of measures to respond to NATO's military growth on the border with Russia. By the end of the year, two new divisions will be established in the Western Military District and a third in the Southern Military District ".
The three Russian divisions, about thirty thousand in total, should be deployed in Rostov-on-Don and in the Smolensk and Voronezh regions.
According to the Russians, the Alliance is using the political crisis in Ukraine to justify its existence, instilling alarmism.
