NASA: "UFO" technology will take us to Mars

01/04/15

The colonization of Mars is getting closer. A few hours ago, NASA showed the world its revolutionary flying saucer that will play a crucial role in future missions on the red planet.

15 meters wide and with a weight of 7.000 pounds, the flying saucer performed a "spin test" at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

The experiment was broadcast live on ABC News.

The flying saucer, part of NASA's Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator project, aims to develop future landing aircraft for upcoming space missions.

Such innovative technologies - explain NASA - will allow the transport of enormous quantities of materials on the surface of Mars or on other planetary bodies with atmospheres, including the Earth. But our goal remains Mars.

The next test will take place in June, at the Pacific Missile Range Facility of the Navy in Kauai, Hawaii.
