Moscow: "Here's what we can disintegrate with the S-400s"

The Russians repropose the list of carriers (in service and not), that the anti-aircraft systems S-400, sent to Syria after the demolition of the Su-24, would be able to break down according to the data of the Almaz / Antei which produces them.

The S-300 and S-400 systems represent the highest point of Russian ground-to-air defense systems. They are designed to protect areas of strategic importance. Each battery can attack more than half a dozen targets simultaneously. Among the targets that the Russians are sure to be able to break down, the F-22 also appears Raptor.

According to Moscow, the S-400 can disintegrate the strategic B-52, B-1 and F-111 bombers as well as the EF-11A Raven, the EA-6 Prowler and the U-2 spy plane. Easy prey to the S-400 would be the E-3 Sentry and the E-2 Hawkeye. The F-15 and F-16 are among the western fighters that the Russians claim to be able to break down.

For the Russians, the S-400 would be able to detect and kill even the F-22 fifth generation fighter Raptor and the aircraft stealth F-117 and B-2. Finally, according to Mosca, ballistic and strategic missiles (the system can trace 72 simultaneously) could not cross an airspace protected by S-400 with impunity.

According to the Russians, therefore, any aerial platform in line with the West would have no escape against the S-400. And indeed, this should be quite correct for all aircraft up to the fourth generation, probably even with those of 4,5. Recall that the S-400 was designed to intercept threats stealth Westerners.

In the data branched from the Almaz / Antei F-18, EFA, F-35 and Rafale are not included. The choice is politically correct for the EFAs and the Rafales. The F-18 are currently navigating with the Truman and will not be available until two weeks later while the F-35 have not been deployed.

According to a shared strategy, the best option to cancel an S-300 / S-400 defensive fencing would be to use the "Global Strike Task Force". A task force combined of F-22 and B-2. Then there would be a second option, which involves a massive JASSM-ER missile attack (where ER stands for Extended Range) in a context that would require the presence of the EA-18G Growler. The problem, in the second option, is to preload the missile targets: S-300 and S-400, in fact, are mobile systems, connected in a network and capable of launching missiles, once positioned, after just three minutes.
