The Crisis Unit immediately activated to follow the case and is in constant contact with the families of the compatriots and with the Bonatti company.
As noted following the closure of the Italian Embassy in Libya on February 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had signaled the situation of extreme difficulty in the country, inviting all of its compatriots to leave Libya.
