The news was not confirmed by the West, but according to numerous media in Arabic, such as Al Soraya ed Al-Anba, the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, would have died. The alleged death of the caliph, is having a relevance in Iran and Syria, with state channels that resume the news, although not confirmed.

The only known information is that last Saturday at 12, Iraqi air forces hit a convoy on the road to Al-Karable. Numerous high-profile figures would have been eliminated. Al-Karable is the western sub-district of the province of Anbar, in Iraq, near the border with Syria.

Rumors of Baghdadi's alleged demise have been chasing since the beginning of the year when a US raid struck another convoy aboard which the number one of the Islamic State would have found. The size offered by the United States for Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is ten million dollars.
