Iraqi Army Command has taken delivery of an unspecified load of 128mm air-to-ground rockets. This is what the Iraqi Ministry of Defense communicates. The Iraqis, however, have avoided mentioning the type of rocket and the manufacturer, hiding behind the phrase "equipment of international origin, will be decisive in the next battles".
The Ministry of Defense also announces that it has received a new type of 80 mm rocket, "particularly effective against armored suicide vehicles". Again, the manufacturer is unknown.
Rockets are supposed to equip helicopters Mi-17 in service with theIraqi air force.
