The Iraqi air force would have hit a suspect convoy belonging to the Islamic State. According to the official statement released a few minutes ago by the Loyalist government, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the caliphate, was to be found in that convoy.

The strike was not confirmed by the Pentagon and the fate of al-Baghdadi is ignored. The raid would have taken place in the western province of Anbar, near the Syrian border.

They write from Iraq's Ministry of the Interior: "The Iraqi air force, at yesterday's 12, bombed the convoy of terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, while he was heading to Karabla to attend a meeting with the commanders of the organization" .

Baghdadi would have escaped the attack on another vehicle, even if its real health conditions are ignored. Instead, numerous high-profile figures would have been eliminated.

There is no official position (other than that of Baghdad), although it could be an attempt by the government to boost troop morale.

Rumors of Baghdadi's alleged demise have been chasing since the beginning of the year when a US raid struck another convoy aboard which the number one of the Islamic State would have found. The size offered by the United States for Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is ten million dollars.

Although the news has not been confirmed by the Americans, some strange writings appear on the fundamentalist social media channels, most of which read: "every minute, in the Islamic State, a new leader is born".
